I'm working on a Bio, you see this is my retirement thing. First at my Dad's side when I didn't quite make it to his waist. Then as I grew, I always had at least one camera and usually more than that. I think I always wanted to be a photographer but other things always got in my way. Like a career in the Air Force and Air Nat'l Guard for instance where I was a pilot for nearly 28 years.

With two wars behind me and a bit of coronary artery disease, a change of career seemed like a good idea at the time. Information Technology had come along and with it a love of computers and a new career; brief though it was, as an Information Technologist and IT Program Manager. Yet photography was always there, lurking in the background and trying to become free.

So finally, with retirement comes the freedom to actually study and practice my photoraphy. I shoot digital exclusively and love it! I have been told, pretty often as a matter of fact, if you want to become a professional photographer, pick your parents very carefully or discover a separate source of income until you get on your feet. So it is that time, with a steady income, albeit a fixed income, whether I go to work or not, I finally have the freedom to pursue my dreams. Here's hoping you enjoy some of my photos.

Thanks for dropping by.
